Safety First: Kicking Off the Year with a Focus on Fall Prevention and Recognizing Excellence
At Lutter, Inc., there is nothing more important than ensuring every member of our team goes home safe at the end of the day. Today, we paused operations across the company for our first Safety Stand-Down of the year to reinforce that commitment.
A Critical Focus: Fall Prevention While safety is a broad topic, today’s stand-down zeroed in on a critical area in our industry: Fall Prevention. Falls remain one of the leading causes of workplace injuries, but they are almost entirely preventable with the right planning, equipment, and mindset.
We spent time reviewing updated procedures, inspecting gear, and discussing the vital importance of situational awareness—not just for ourselves, but for the teammates working next to us.
Our Safety Goals for 2026 This stand-down wasn’t just about reviewing rules; it was about setting the tone for the year ahead. We have set two ambitious but achievable targets for our safety roadmap this year:
- Increasing proactive hazard reporting: We want to identify and mitigate risks before they ever have a chance to become incidents.
- Achieving zero lost time: Our ultimate benchmark is to maintain zero lost time across all of our active projects.
Achieving these goals requires more than compliance; it requires a culture where safety is an inherent value in every task we undertake.

Celebrating Our Safety Champions To support our goals, we are thrilled to launch our new Safety Incentive Program. This program is designed to recognize those who go above and beyond in proactive safety measures.
